My daughter called me late yesterday afternoon and said that her good friend's (from her church) husband had just passed away that afternoon. She found him laying in the driveway & he was already gone to be with the Lord. It was so sudden, and he hadn't been sick. This friend lost her daughter to cancer just a very few months ago, and needless to say, could very much use all the prayers she can get!! Thanks so much, her name is Chris.

Prayers said of course. Now they will be with their Lord. It is hard for those left behind I know. Give her my love if you speak with her.

Dear Lord, Please be with Chris today and everyday as she confronts her fear and lonliness and grief. Lord, we don't understand why You do the things You. Help us to trust You. Give this family an extra helping of Your comfort.
Dear Lord God.... please bring peace and comfort to Chris. Hold her close during this time of sadness and show her that you are with her! Give June just the right words to share with Chris to help her see your plan in all this!
