A pair of socks

I have finished a pair of socks, finally. I have to force myself to work on socks these days, but these are finished. I have one more pair of these on the needles. This yarn is Bernat Sox, it is an acrylic, and is made for someone else. Although I prefer to work with wool, I realize that others cannot wear wool. The pattern is "Mock Cable" and is modified from a Happy Feet DK pattern from Plymouth Yarn. I am pleased with them and I hope the person they are intended for will be, too. More rain today, it's been raining all week. It it verging on Biblical proportions (just kidding). I have soggy yard cats on my front porch!

Nice sox! I like the Happy Feet, Plymoth yarn and I'm going to cast on less stitches next time.

Your colorway is pretty and the mock cable is a favorite of mine.

Congratulations on the finished pair!

Hi June! Your post was funny to me today, as I did indeed notice several soggy cats on porches today, as I got caught in the rain, on my way home from a walk!! The socks you made are beautiful.. LOVE the color! I'm sure you feel as good to get those done as I feel to get an 8-pocket tote done!! (0;

Just read your comment. Tell me more about the new yarn shop. I've not heard anything.

Happy Knitting!
