Tasha Tudor Day

I saw this photo on Beansieleigh's blog and just had to check it out! I have been a big fan of Tasha Tudor ever since I received a subscription to "Victoria" magazine as a gift. I ended up subscribing for several years. Someone told me lately that Victoria is never more, and that's too bad. Anyway, I have always been fascinated by this lady and her lifestyle. I am going to see if I can order some of her books. I am told that she passed away earlier this year. I wish I could follow in her footsteps.

Been meaning to tell you, I like the picture in your header of the quilt. My favorite one yet.

I guess you heard there is a new quilt shop opening in downtown Elkin. They have such neat, shops. I like their downtown shops better than ours, where I live. They are more unique and "artsy", with so many handmade items available and their art and craft guild, stores, etc.
