Small Christmas Quilt

I am all the time trying to come up with new ideas for small quilts for Project Linus. That is, small, easy to make, stashbuster type patterns. I found the idea for this one on the internet, as I have made several of the "Stashbuster" pattern, using 6 fabrics, and I wanted to try something different. This little quilt turned out around 42 inches square (the blocks are 9 1/2 inch squares) and I am pleased with it. Now to get it quilted before Christmas...but that's another story.

Hi June! Beautiful quilt, and LOVE the beautiful afghan you made in your previous post too!! Having read back further still, I thought the picture of you hugging your favorite sheep was really cute!!! I'm going to have to buy or crochet a sheep, so I can hug one too!! (0; Anyways.. I do in fact "Love Lucy", and if you don't mind parting with the ornaments, I would be thrilled to have them! Email me (bleighs8793@yahoo.com) if you would to set plans for sure! Hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed your weekend.. We got so far as putting UP the tree, and now I have to do lights.. Not exactly the most fun part of the event, but I'll play some Christmas music on the radio, and call upon Dear Son for some help! (0; Enjoy your day! ((hugs)) ~tina

I hope you don't mind me borrowing this quilt idea. My kids are all in their own homes now and asking for quilts. I need something that makes up quick but looks good. I like yours. Karmen
