Saying good-bye to my best friend
Once upon a time there were three little calico kittens born in Ei-cho, Japan. Their names were Kaoru, Kenshin and Shizuku. When my daughter moved home from Japan, she brought her cats with her. Shizuku-chan outlived the rest and became my best friend. When my daughter moved into her own home several years ago, Shizuku stayed here. It was her choice to stay here. As I have told previously, she became ill at the first part of the summer, and became steadily worse until last Friday, when she passed over the Rainbow Bridge. She was eighteen years old. This is so hard. I am thankful that Hemi-cat is with us.

I'm so sorry, June. I know how hard this is. I hope the wonderful memories of her will help to heal your broken heart. Sending a hug, Deb
I am so sorry to read about Shizuku-chan especially so close after your Earl Grey also. Thinking of you and knowing your pain...
