Snow!!
This is the first really big snow storm since the year 2000 (that was in February, also). So far we have had ten inches!! It is snowing again, and we may get an inch or more before it is all done! Growing up in Michigan, I am very familiar with all aspects of snow. Lovely to look at, but don't drive in it if you don't have to! Luckily, both my children work at the Community College, and it is closed in bad weather. I have been remembering the snows from my childhood all morning. I'm glad I live in NC where we don't have to live through this very often!! I am working on a "World Vision" (kids) sweater. Photo when I am finished. The above photo taken by my son...note that you cannot even see the road!

This snow is beautiful. The last time I remember one this amount was back on Feb. 14, 1985, I was pregnant w/ Mollie.

I've got about a foot and half and it's still pouring. I hear there's another storm headed our way tomorrow. When it's like this, all I do is feed the wood stove, feed the animals and rest for the next round. Be safe, you're wise not to go any where.
Jean, I know this was a few weeks ago but we're expecting 5 to 10 inches tonight. Hello March 2.
